The directions for putting this together are printed on the box. I love this clever use of that surface rather than wasting resources to print them separately! Building this feeding system was really easy, and I like that there are options for different heights. Another review of this product had me concerned, because it described there being nowhere to easily insert the dog food. However, I did find the opening which is designed for this. It was easy to fill by using a funnel. Our dog was so intrigued watching us put his food inside. He's slowly working on figuring out turning the cylinder to make his food fall out, and it's so cute. This is a great tool for keeping him distracted, so I see how it is meant for helping anxiety. I highly recommend this pet feeding system for anyone whose dog struggles with fast-eating and/or anxiety.

I received this item to review through the vine programUnfortunately, the holes in this feeder are extremely small. Maybe they would be OK for very small kibble for small breed dogs. Our dog is larger and eats a large breed kibble as you can see from the picture, the cable does not fit through the holes in this feeder, this seems to be some sort of oversight. The cable that would come out of. This would have to be very small, and most kibble will be bigger than this. I think this makes it unusable for most people/dogs.

This is easy to put together and not too difficult for my cats to figure out. The rubber makes it stay put on the floor without sliding around and all the pieces were easily assembled. However, the food dispenser ball has no way to open it to put the food inside, so you are reduced to putting food in a piece at a time in the little holes or the holes on the ends which aren't much easier. And while you are doing that about a third of the food falls back out the other holes... And since it doesn't come apart, cleaning it will be nearly impossible... Since everything else is so nicely designed, it makes me wonder if anyone ever actually tried using it themselves. A food dispenser ball that opened somehow for filling and washing should not have been too difficult.
