This is exactly what my dog needed. It makes him slow down on his eating. The surprising thing was how much he likes it. I guess it is entertaining for him, he goes back later to "hunt" some more. Very durable so far, I'm impressed.

Easy to use, easy to clean, my dog loves it! We liked the idea of snuffle mats but were grossed out by the fabric ones - eww! This is perfect, when done just rinse and put in the dishwasher. Easy!

I bought this with the idea of making nail clipping easier, and it worked like a charm; however, one day I had a light bulb pop up over my head.Backstory:Our youngest dog came to us from ASPCA with quite a bit of baggage that we're slowly unpacking. She's dog reactive to the point of nearly pushing the television over when a cartoon dog comes onto the screen. We still don't know if it's some form of aggression (fear or otherwise) or barrier frustration, despite thousands of dollars of training. She's 46 lbs of pure muscle and a mix of numerous working, guarding, and herding breeds. A mutt through-and-through. We're not keen on finding out why she's a booger towards other dogs because we're not going to have much luck pulling her off of one. It stinks, but we made a promise to look after this dog and provide her a good home, so that we do.The Deescalation Training:I loaded up a video of puppies, because puppies make high pitched prey-driven dog attention getting noises. I started with no volume, and sure enough, Esther was highly alerted. I slapped this guy down on the ground with a little noise to grab her attention. She looked, then back to wanting to chase puppies. I shook the treat dish (a new food my cat hated, but it's in tiny pieces so perfect for training). Interest piqued and now sitting at my side and looking up expectantly. Good girl! Wait for it . . . puppy chasing time. Sprinkle a little food into this toy. Sitting at attention again. Good girl! Drool drip. "Okay!" That nose was working overtime as she went to town on the toy, lapping up (and flicking) the bits hiding amongst the leaves. I turned on the volume. Nothing - still working on the toy. Turned up the volume. Still nothing. Brought the volume to normal level and got her to look at the tv, but then right back to the toy. More volume. Another look, back to the toy.The Results:Now when a dog, or dragon, or squirrel, or rat, or crow, or anything else alive but not human, cartoon or real, comes on the tv, we have this mat and some treats at the ready.Thoughts:🟢Sturdy even against pawing - may not last forever, but so far so good🟢Suction cups are quite good - if I push it down firmly they hold up to the pawing for the most part - the cleaner the floor and the suction cups, the more grip there will be; she can lift it on one side or another, but has yet to entirely dislodge it🟢Easy to clean - slap it on the side of the sink, a little soap and a brush and it's done. It can be rolled to get in between the leaves instead of trying to wiggle my way in there.🟢Easy to clean - if there are still treats in there, they roll out as soon as I pick the toy up; the super slobbered ones might stick, but wash out easily with water🟡Size - adequate for training, not for feeding (there are larger versions)🟢Travel ready - lightweight and takes up little space⚠ Must be used with a human attending! Even well-trained dogs can be prone to chewing on the toy because a) smell - we may not smell it, but our canine pals Definitely can and b) chewing things is rewarding to dogs ⚠I can't find any fatal flaws or pick this apart other than size options. The size itself is posted in the product description so it's only the buyer's fault if they don't look at that. It would be nice to have a larger option; however, there are more companies selling different sizes, so that's something for this seller to consider.

Very nice snuffle mat! It's quite large and washed fine in the dishwasher. My dog immediately began searching for kibbles. She is on medically necessary activity restriction, so this gives her something stimulating without increasing her heart rate much. It also slows her down because she's a super fast eater.I like that this snuffle mat is made of silicone and dishwasher safe, because I wash my dog dishes daily, so a fabric snuffle mat seems not very practical or sanitary.Especially for the current price of six bucks, this is an awesome buy!!! Highly recommended!

I had cloth snuffle mats for my dogs, but they have to be washed in the washer each time we use it. Having this silicone one is so much easier to clean. I got two sizes, one for my bigger dog and this one for my tiny dog. It is nice to hide her dog treats, cheese and I also sprinkle parmesan cheese under the leaves.The suction on this mat is really good, which is super helpful as my dog is pushing all over to sniff for treats. Fun thing for your dog to do!

This could act as a slow feeder or a snuffle mat. I like that it is dishwasher friendly. It slows my little dog's eating speed and is good sized so you can spread out the food bits. My fabric snuffle mat is no longer needed. It is a good find!

It was too small for my dog so I bought a bigger one. It was so nice that I gave it to my friend for her small - medium dogs.

I have 3 dogs and so I decided on trying these out after seeing something similar on Instagram. Just to give you an idea, my 3 dogs are a 3 years old, 6 years old and 15. Their respective sizes are 12lb, 10lb and 9lb. 2 of them eat hard kibble and the oldest eats soft foods. All this being said, I bought 3 of these.I washed and air dried them all and the next day tested it out. I utilized both the dry foods and wet food and it went well overall! They just had to get over the initial part of looking under every silicon leaf for any kibble or dry food that got pushed out of the way. Even til now, they all take their time foraging between the silicone leaves for food and once they're done they are pooped which we also like!One of my dogs pulled on a silicone leaf to get to his kibble which made me nervous but the leaf held up well against the pulling/being bit.Overall so far this is a 5/5!I'll update after I wash it in the dishwasher!
